3 year old Foosa Logic

Foosa is very excited about the Easter Bunny coming. Every day he asks if it is Easter. W tell him no, and try to explain when it will be. Like after X more school days or Y more swim classes. This is not working. He has a magnetic calendar we change every day. It has special magnets for holidays. This morning I told him when I put the Easter magnet in the special day area, then it is Easter. There are also spots for weather and his mood. He has been known to change those when appropriate. If we put put cloudy in the weather area, and later it rains, he squeals "I need to change my calendar!" and switches cloudy to rain. Or if he gets upset, he will change the mood magnet. It's pretty cute. Today he ran up to me and announced he had changed it. The weather was the same, and he didn't seem sad or angry, but I asked him what was wrong that he needed it changed as I followed him back to his room. He exclaimed, "Nothing's wrong. I just changed it to Easter!" Sure enough, the Easter magnet was in the special day area. And he was beaming. It was adorable.
