What's in a Name?

Foosa? What in the world is a foosa? Well, technically it's spelled Fossa. And it's one of these:


But then the fine folks that wrote Madagascar changed the spelling. No idea why. Perhaps to be phonetically correct...perhaps they just didn't fact check. Even spelled correctly, Google spell check flags it, so who knows. And if they can change the spelling, I can change what a foosa is. Thus, a foosa is now this:


When our son was born, he really didn't do anything but fuss. So we called him The Fusser. At some point in a running-on-empty-haven't-slept-in-far-too-long moment, that got changed to The Foosa. It has stuck as our personal pet name for our little guy, and this is our story.
